After completing her master’s degree in Biometry and Genetics at the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences at Ankara University in 1995, she went on to earn a Ph.D. in the same field in 2000. In the field of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics, she achieved the title of Assistant Professor in 2001, Associate Professor in 2006, and Professor in 2011. Currently, she serves as a faculty member at Istanbul Medeniyet University, Faculty of Medicine, in the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics. She has authored over 500 scientific articles published in various journals, presented numerous congress papers, and contributed as the author of five books and two book chapters in her field. She has also served as a researcher on numerous projects and conducted various courses and seminars. Her main areas of expertise include Biostatistics, Informatics, Data Science, Data Mining, and Population Genetics.
